New Lawsuit Fair Labor law
The Law Office of W. John Gadd, P.A., has filed a lawsuit against KHALIL SADEGHPOUR CORP, on behalf of our client for violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Ms. Hall has alleged that her employer routinely failed, refused and/or neglected to compensate her for all of the hours she worked as a waitress on behalf of Defendant. The Fair Labor Standards Act dates back to 1937 and is an often used mechanism used by savvy attorneys to ensure that their clients are fully paid in accordance with the law and is among the best statutes available to combat "wage theft" by employers. Many hourly workers are not compensated for all the the time they work and examples can include travel time, as well as work performed before or after an employee has clocked out was well as time spent working through lunch or from home.
